Faraz Ahmed is Nakisa’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where he leads the company’s software development teams and shapes the long-term vision and strategy to align development efforts with Nakisa’s business goals. With over 20 years of enterprise software development experience, Faraz has expertise spanning AI, distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and cloud platform engineering. His leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation within Nakisa’s dynamic R&D department, delivering cutting-edge solutions for a rapidly expanding client base.
Faraz’s passion for artificial intelligence is evident in his completion of the prestigious Artificial Intelligence Professional Certificate from Stanford University. He has a keen interest in the practical applications of AI to enhance both technology and business processes. His commitment to innovation is complemented by a track record of fostering high-performance, technology-driven teams that operate in a culture of excellence and enjoyment.
Faraz has also held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, including his current role as CTO. He holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Punjab, as well as a Diploma in Comprehensive Project Management from McGill University. Faraz has shared his knowledge through lectures at the Punjab University College of Information Technology, focusing on programming, data structures, and algorithm analysis.
